Territory analysis
Glacier map. About 40% of the area is covered by glaciers. These areas (shown in blue) are not suitable for construction due to technical and environmental reasons.
Viewing characteristics scheme. Analysis of viewing characteristics of the area shows three most advantageous points for placing objects

Nature motifs. Among the rich variety of forms of Elbrus glaciers, there are those that are close to regular geometric shapes: trapezoids, truncated pyramids, prisms.
Patterns of crevasses on glaciers. The ice surface is broken down into small substructures that create a visually rich landscape.
Stone mushrooms. The unique rocky structures in the northeastern part of Elbrus deserve special attention. They are commonly known as "stone mushrooms". The mushroom caps create striking consoles, an ensemble directed in one direction.

Modular structure and formation
Transportation and installation of ready-made modules on site without unnecessary work at height. Saving on logistics and construction work.
Scalability. At any stage, it allows to increase or reduce the project depending on economic parameters without compromising the artistic value of the object.
Adaptability, flexibility. It allows adapting to any relief features of the site. Changing the site will not affect the basic concept.
Resistance to wind loads. Fragmentation or porosity of volumes allows to avoid the sail-like effect of the object.
Ecological approach. Modules on legs preserve the natural landscape compared to traditional foundations. Saving on earthworks.
Visual continuity. The fragmented modular structure echoes the image of a glacier in the cracks.
Meditation pavilion
Concept. As the culmination of the whole visiting experience, each guest is invited to visit the "meditation pavilion". This space is for silence and meditative contemplation of the mountains. Stepping inside, the guest sees and hears something more than what he saw outside. It's like being suspended between two planets in the middle. This is due to the mirrored ceiling reflecting the silhouette of the mountains. This unique, surreal experience cannot be compared to anything else.
The room with a panoramic view is designed to create a relaxing atmosphere with carpets and soft armchairs. In the center of the room stands the musical instrument "hang". In the foyer, where guests take off their shoes, they can find a book to read.
Guest house complex
Guest houses require some seclusion and good views to be revealed. For this reason, they are located in the most advantageous viewpoint of the area, with some distance from the cable car station.
